The people working there were rude and then they only had electric vehicles. Which, I'm cool with generally but we were driving to Dallas and the car was only half charged, so we had to stop halfway through and spend an hour charging it. Sucked.

The van was filthy when I picked it up. Like crushed chips, dirt & boogers filthy. I had to whipe it down with clorox just to feel okay with my upcoming 4 hr ride. I would've returned it but they were already closed & I think it also needed gas too when I picked it up. The price was excellent & not beatable by their rivals within city limits.

Was lied to multiple times by multiple employees. Despite making reservation 6 weeks in advance, they may or may not even have the class (pickup truck) in their fleet any longer, but definitely could not get one to the location the reservation was for. They continue to accept reservations for vehicles even after they know they are triple booked and then are forced to cancel reservations, sometimes when the person comes in to pick up (I spent 3 hrs in their lobby watching this happen.) Horribly unethical way to conduct business. But seems Hertz is also in the habit of reporting paid rentals as stolen, so, hey, at least I wasn't arrested! In short, this was my first and last Hertz rental. Learn from my mistakes..... not even once!

I made a reservation on Kayak. I called the store and was told there were no cars. I then made a reservation on the Hertz website. I called the store and was again told there were no cars. Hertz should not allow reservations when there are no cars. Period.

Even after paying in full, when the car was just a little delayed in picking up, it was handed off to someone else without so much as a heads up, and the only reason for the delay was an unforeseen delay in the flight. Refusal to help or refund added to the distasteful experience.

Well, I like a clean vacuumed vehicle especially in the inside. My trunk was dirty, the back seats needed wiping down and someone should check that. Other than that, everything else was excellent. Thank you Shelly for your help with my needs.

If I reserve a sub-compact or economy car, then that is what I want and expect --- and not to to be 'up-sized' to a bigger car - regardless of rate. Valuable vacation time was wasted on this issue. Honor the reservation !

I booked a SUV rental with Enterprise Rent a Car through Kayak. When I arrived at Enterprise I was told they had tried to contact me but the “third party” I had booked through had not shared my contact details, which I found hard to believe as I had email confirmations from both parties. They told me my “convertible” would be ready shortly. I told them I had booked an SUV as I had 4 large suitcases which wouldn’t load in a convertible. After insisting on getting a SUV Enterprise said they had found one and had it sent over from another branch. We waited 90-120 minutes before we could get going. Not the experience we thought we would have!

Although we specified the drop off at the airport in the reservation, it didn't get reflected in the cost. An additional $150 drop is, well, a lot.

Never was able to acquire rental car in the chaos of the eclipse. I booked several weeks in advance. They dont offer afterhours pickup. And we're closed on Sunday. Turo is gonna beat all the rental car businesses.

Poor phone customer service. Arrived late and missed location opening. Unable to reach anyone by phone q dollar to confirm we would pick up next day. Location was fine but told us to use app to change drop off location. App did not allow that. 15 min on hold to be told we could not bc of the specific car we took. Location did not tell us that

Be clear on the pickup location. I selected Airport Blvd and the pickup was downtown and not the Airport. Could not use the reservation and had to pay for the third party insurance.

The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The car was filthy. The seats has white stains in both front seats, the floor boards hadn't been vacuumed, the seat was difficult to adjust.
