Just to be expected on a budget airline. Since all the flights were either late on the evening it would help to offer some food for purchase Since you tourists cannot buy decent food withoit local vaccination record in hong Kong this would really to help Using phone to submit electronic data is great but for the elderly this is a hassle
Flight cancelled without notidication, had to book an emergency replacement flight at the counter
Cons: "We should have been allowed to sit near our family (wives). There was empty row but they wanted to charge us to move up. Ridiculous!!"

Cons: "The flight took forever to land. Pilot said prepare for descent and we stayed in the air for another forty minutes. The air smelled awful. One of the worst flights I’ve ever taken."

Watch for "bait and switch" - cheap prices, but not obvious at all at point of purchase that there will be an undisclosed charge for baggage - and less obvious that you will have to purchase baggage at an eye-watering level. Better still, if you go this airline, leave your gear behind and buy a complete wardrobe when you arrive in country and still be ahead. The staff were very pleasant, both at counter staff level - they were clearly unnerved by having to charge - and on board.
No entertainment service which equates them with budget airlines. But their fare are regular airline fares. Aircraft are old and seats are worn.
The crews at check in counter are not professional, they are talking and playing around. Also no entertainment on the plane
2 failed landing attemps before going to Nagoya airport for refueling. After 3 hours of taxiing, we still needed 3 attemps before a succeeded landing (after the 5th attempt finally!). In total, 11 hours inside the plane instead of 4h30, and with only a crappy piece of bread to feed us. A shame.

Pros: "This airline is going out of business in the US. They have had great fares from LAX to Hong Kong and Bangkok. It seems the airline has been mismanaged or has had political restraints despite always being full. I was lucky to purchase the last roundtrip flight LAX HKG BKK before the online bookings were pulled for the LAX route. Hence, my flight to HKG and the return to LAX were empty flights, which is such a loss for an already dying airline. The crew were still polite and hardworking unlike US airlines."
