There are no public buses that leave directly from the airport, but you can take a taxi to the nearest bus station (VIAZUL bus station), located about 15min from the airport. Tickets for the VIAZUL bus can be purchased from the arrival halls in the airport, and once there you can take the bus into the centre of Havana.

There are car hire services available in Terminals 2, 3, and 5. You must book your car hire in advance, or you won’t be able to hire a car. The car hire companies that operate in Havana Airport are Cubacar, Rex, Havanautos, and Via Transgaviota.

Since May of 2015, you no longer need to pay departure tax. This is now included in the price of your holiday when you purchase flights or packages.

There is paid short- and long-term parking available at the airport if you need to keep it there while travelling. There are parking lots situated about 150 m from each of the terminals.
